Been making lemon bars for 38 years
Have used myriad recipes, such a lovely dessert
and all of them were loved by all who partook of
the tangy sweet concoctions.The filling is basically
the same...the crusts however vary...this is the 1st time
I have seen this recipe with a pre-pkged cookie dough for the
crust...Genius! Certain the whole idea was "of ease to prep time"!
Especially for the lady who was adding variety to the Wedding Cake
Table to have something for everyone attending...BRAVO I say!

These were really good! I loved using the sugar cookie dough because it made it much easier!

This was a great recipe. My family loved it. I will definitely make it again. I just wish people like oldpta81 would try the recipe first before commenting. Your comments are NOT helpful.

Although I have not yet tried these, I will be doing so very soon. I am catering a wedding in July and am supplying these for the dessert table. I will try beforehand but feel using sugar cookie dough will make this so much easier. Thanks for sharing!
