I've made something like this before but instead of using breadsticks, I use the Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust. I put one crust on the bottom of the pie plate fill it with the mixture and cover it with the other crust. The crust doesn't get soggy and it's wonderful.

pretty good and easy. can see us making this again and using whatever soup and veggies we have on hand. ( maybe a beef version, yum ) my son really enjoyed this. he likes to pop the cans :)

Another pillsbury recipe called for adding cream cheese to the mixture. When I make this I will use some of the cooking cream cheese, probably the garlic flavored, to add a little creamy thickness to the soup.

very easy to make! breadsticks were slightly doughy on the middle / underside... might try with flaky biscuits next time!
