Ingredients

  • 3 cups packed light brown sugar
  • 24 slices applewood-smoked bacon

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 425°F. Line large cookie sheet with sides with foil; place large metal cooling rack on foil. On large plate, spread brown sugar.
  • 2
Coat half of the bacon slices with brown sugar, pressing to be sure plenty of sugar sticks to both sides of bacon. Place bacon in single layer on rack in pan.
  • 3
Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until crisp. Remove bacon from rack to serving platter to cool. Repeat with remaining bacon and brown sugar.
