Made these exactly as directed, except used 4.5 lbs of ribs. Delicious! My crockpot also runs very hot, even on low, so these were done in less than six hours. Sauce does not really thicken, even after boiling as directed. I use liquid smoke all the time for baked beans and was a little scared about 1 Tbsp, but the taste was great.

These were fantastic. I followed the recipe exactly and they came out delicious. My slow cooker had them done in 7 hours so you should check the ribs before the 10 hour point. My husband loved them and can't wait for me to make them again. They were full of flavor but not overpowering. Thanks.

Served this for Wednesday Night Crock Pot Dinner. Everyone loved it. Tried two different grocery stores and could not find liquid smoke, so substituted mesquite seasoning. Umm, delicious!
