My daughter tried it with her pre-k class and the kids'' first reaction to the picture of false teeth was "yuk". But kids love yukky things . She cut the apple slices ahead of time and squeezed lemon juice on them to prevent them from turning brown. She placed the apple slices in paper bowls and set them out along with small jars of peanut butter, plastic knives, and paper plates filled with the mini marshmallows .The children had a ball making their "Monster teeth" for Halloween. They devoured every morsel.

I dipped the apples in a lemon juice & water solution to keep them from turning too quickly. What a fun experience for the K5 children.

What a great idea! After school snacks that entertain at the same time! Being a former caregiver, apple and peanut butter were always a favourite with the kids. Nutrition and fun- - a great combination!
