I would not make this. stuffing should be on the crunchy-side. my mother used to make extra stuffing and bake it in a lolf pan. cold, you could slice it like bread. left over turkey on stuffing slices with cranberry sauce, soo good.

I was very disappointed in this recipe. I also referred back to the recipe thinking I should have added the stuffing until the end. It had the consistency of baby food. A mushy mess!

The flavor of this dish was great. It was like Thanksgiving all in one pot. However, my end product didn't look ANYTHING like the picture displayed. I double checked and triple checked that the recipe wanted the stuffing mix added at the beginning of cooking. So I followed the recipe and threw everything but the buns into the slow cooker. 8 hours later what I ended up with looked more like Turkey Sloppy Joes. The stuffing just broke down into mush. When I make this again, I will try adding the stuffing about 20 minutes before serving. I also like to throw in dried cranberries into my stuffing while it cooks, they plump up and add a nice sweet contrast to the stuffing.
