SLOW COOKER-TO-GRILL DIRECTIONS: Arrange ribs and onion in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker. Add enough boiling water to just cover ribs.
Cover; cook on low setting for 7 to 8 hours. Drain.*
Heat grill. In small saucepan, combine all sauce ingredients. Cook and stir over medium heat just until jelly is melted.
When ready to grill, carefully oil grill rack. Place ribs on gas grill over low heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Brush ribs generously with sauce. Cook 20 minutes or until browned, turning occasionally and brushing with sauce. Discard any remaining sauce.
