These beans are delicious! I have made them twice now, once with gueniss beer and sweet baby rays sweet and spicy bbq sauce and once with dark and tan yengling and original sweet baby rays bbq sauce. Highly recommend the gueniss and sweet and spicy combo, it is amazing. My mom holds the family title of best baked beans but this recipe gives her some competition! Highly recommend!

I would love to try this recipe but I tried to add it to my on line box to save for a future date and was unable to save. Hope I can remember it.

Missjoan44....If you really want to try a WONDERFUL bbq sauce, look up the Neely's recipe for bbq sauce from Food Network. We use this one all the time and get rave comments about it. It does make a good bit, but we just store it in the fridge in a sealed canning jar. I hope that this helps you out some. As for the Jack Daniels sauce, we threw out almost a whole bottle..its nasty stuff!

I doubled the ingredients and it took bacon longer to cook & subsequently, the onion was over cooked. I'll put the onion with bacon half way thru & will put raw onion & maybe some bell pepper in with the beans. I used Jack Danials Original for the BBQ sauce, does someone have a better one? Because the beans are canned & already cooked, it just needs to stay in crock pot for about 3 hours. At party, I heard some people say the beans were good. Personally, I would just tweek it a little.

Amazing recipe! I made it just as the recipe calls and it came out great. Next time I'll add more beer, so you can get more of that flavor. Thanks :)

Delicious recipe! I made this for a hamburger and hot dog cookout and I recieved many compliments. I added 1 extra can of each bean, plus a half serving extra of all ingredients and it was done in 3 hours on the low setting of my crockpot.

Was nervous making this for a cookout since there were no reviews but am so glad I did. Hands down the BEST beans I have ever had. There were roughly 20 people at this event and almost all the guest asked for recipe. Made exactly as recipe states and is perfect as is. I used a non-alcoholic beer called Kaliber and a local BBQ sauce made by Good Ol' Boys which is a bit spicy. Bush's Beans ain't got nothing on these beans. THE BEST!!!
