Slow Cooker Spicy Chicken in Peanut Sauce

Pass small bowls of dry-roasted peanuts and chopped fresh cilantro to sprinkle over the chicken, and serve with wedges of warm pita bread.

Tasted a lot like some of my favorite Indian food, so I added a can of peas at the end and topped with slivered almonds.

I skip the t/sauce and chilies and use Pace picante sauce instead.

This was pretty good. Modifications: Don't cut the chicken ahead so that it will shred in the slow cooker. Also, put in 1/2 cup peanut butter instead and a dash of Sriracha sauce really spices it up!

I only changed a couple things, I added one package of Lipton onion soup mix, and equal parts of curry and red pepper flakes..it added a little extra zing and was GREAT... I served it over regular rice and it was a hit
