Try this slow cooked salad made using Progresso™ chicken broth, green beans and ham - a simple and delicious side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 carton (32 oz) Progresso™ chicken broth (4 cups)
  • 2 1/2 lb fresh green beans, trimmed, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 cups chopped red onions (2 large)
  • 1 cup chopped cooked ham
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped

    Spray 4- to 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, mix all ingredients.

    Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 hours (or on High heat setting 4 hours). Serve with slotted spoon.
