To GloriaonGarfield-Maybe this recipe doesn't suggest a lower sodium option because it ASSUMES we are all smart enough to figure that out ourselves if we are on a low sodium diet? Come on - the review sections are for REVIEWS and NOT for admonishing Pillsbury or anyone who may actually dare to make and eat this about the sodium content! I say to all those who are on specialized diets because of need or want to GET OVER yourselves - people do not want or NEED you to scold them for eating something YOU deem inappropriate! RATE THE RECIPE NOT THE INGREDIENTS!

I would use a turkey ham instead and that could cut down on the fat and sodium, but the flavor would still be good!

I liked the recipe until I saw the sodium per serving of 1740 mg...recommended daily is 2000 or less. And there's no tip for altering the recipe..not even a suggestion to search for low sodium ham.
