Slow-Cooker Sloppy Jane Sliders

Healthier than traditional Sloppy Joes, these Sloppy Janes use ground turkey in place of ground beef. Slider-size buns are great for little hands. Also perfect to serve on game day!

lb ground turkey

cup chopped onion

cup chopped celery

pouch (9 oz) Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ fire-roasted tomato cooking sauce

tablespoon packed brown sugar

tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1
teaspoon Montreal steak grill seasoning

  • 1 Spray 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Spray 10-inch skillet with cooking spray. Add turkey, onion and celery; cook over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until turkey is no longer pink. Drain.
  • 2 In slow cooker, stir together turkey mixture, cooking sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and grill seasoning.
  • 3 Cover; cook on Low setting 3 to 4 hours. Stir; spoon turkey mixture into buns. If desired, season to taste with salt and pepper.
