What ingredients would you use, and how much garlic and onion, if you left out the chili powder, the worcestershire sauce, and the canned soup?

This was a WONDERFUL recipe! Was able to just prepare it and leave it to cook all day while at work and that evening it was so tender!! My husband and I loved it! Will DEFINATELY be making it again!

Tried this today with a sirloin tip roast. There are too many better recipes out there than to make this one ever again. Roast came out tough and no flavor.

Oh My Gosh!!! This was DELICIOUS!!! I used a 3.5 pound pot roast instead. Other modifications included leaving out the worcester sauce and adding a dash of Sirhacha sauce. Also added some garlic salt, basil and cilantro. I used a turkey baster to occasionally juice the top of the roast. I serve with roasted red potatoes and onions and peas. This has got to be in the top five best meals I have EVER eaten - fancy restaurants included.

I made this as directed. My roast had a "pop up" timer which popped (to indicate the roast was done) in only 4 hours on LOW. I left in the slow cooker for 7 hours total, and the roast was so dry. Also, the gravy never thickened.

Tried for a Sunday dinner with the family. Absolutely delicious and would definitely cook again. So easy!
