I have yet to try this version, but my version uses chili sauce instead of bbq and coca cola instead of root beer. Its delicious.

This is really good. You might want to get some extra bbq sauce, though - it is a litte dry.

I have made this with pork. Try adding the BBQ sauce after the pork or beef has cooked. My kids would rather eat the pork without the BBQ sauce.

Deliscious!!!! This one is a keeper! I will be using this recipe the next time I make pulled pork, as well. One hint - if you use diet root beer (as a lifelong diabetic I don't keep regular soda around) mix 1Tbsp cornstarch with 2Tbsp of the juices and then add that to the rest of the sauce mixture while you are cooking it on the stovetop. This helps the sauce to thicken despite the absence of the sugar in the soda. So super yummy I can't wait to make it again!

This was Great! Very Very easy and my family loved it! I also have made it with a pork roast too. Great for outdoor BBQ with friends!
