It sounds good. I haven't made it yet, but could you add some extra water with the pasta on the bottom right from the start? Or, would the pasta get mushy from the long slow cook? If we could work that out it could be an easy, one pot, make in the AM and go to work dinner - what slow cookers are for.

Used chicken breasts(less fat) and fat free shredded cheese. I also used whole wheat pasta. Super yummy! I love crock pot stuff. Bet you could use salsa and do a mexican style chicken. Maybe some instant brown or white rice instead of pasta??? I think the watery sauce, may depend on the kind/brand of spaghetti sauce that you use. What if you used your favorite pizza sauce instead? or added tomato paste to your sauce before cooking? or maybe after to thicken it up.

This is wonderful! Used 2 organic chicken breasts, peppers from the garden, and added pepperoni after an hour or so. Cooked on high for a shorter time because the chicken was thawed. Also cut peppers and onion in large strips so our son could easily pick them off. Served with gluten-free pasta and Daiya cheese. Kids and adults loved it! Can't wait for the leftovers. ;)

The kids in the household raved about it; the adults--not so much. The sauce cooks down into a pinkish-orange watery soup. Chicken was tender, though.

i have made this twice each time we had to cook it longer then the 4 hours mark on high try about six and a half hours. The bell pepper really changes the taste of the sauce. I wasn't crazy about it but, my teenager boys like it.
