Slow-Cooker Mushroom Swiss Steak and Gravy

Ingredients

large onion, chopped (1 cup)

medium carrots, sliced (1 cup)

can (4 oz) Green Giant™ mushroom pieces and stems, drained
1 1/2
lb boneless beef round steak, cut into serving-size pieces
1/4
teaspoon pepper
1
can (18 oz) Progresso™ Vegetable Classics creamy mushroom soup
1
can (8 oz) tomato sauce

Directions

  1. 1 In 3- to 4-quart slow cooker, layer onion, carrots, mushrooms and beef. Sprinkle pepper over beef. In medium bowl, mix soup and tomato sauce; pour over beef.
  2. 2 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 to 10 hours.
  3. 3 Place beef on serving platter. With slotted spoon, remove vegetables from cooker and spoon over beef. Stir gravy in cooker with wire whisk to blend. Serve gravy with beef.
