Ingredients

2: pounds beef boneless round steak

1/2: teaspoon seasoned salt

1/4: teaspoon pepper

1: medium onion, sliced

1: jar (26 ounces) tomato pasta sauce (any variety)

1: package (9 ounces) refrigerated cheese-filled tortellini

1: medium zucchini, cut lengthwise in half, then cut crosswise into slices (about 1 cup)

Directions

1 Cut beef into 6 serving-size pieces; sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper. Layer beef and onion in 3- to 4-quart slow cooker. Pour pasta sauce over top.
2 Cover and cook on Low heat setting 8 to 9 hours.
3 About 20 minutes before serving, stir in tortellini and zucchini. Increase heat setting to High. Cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes or until tortellini are tender.

great flavor. however probably only cook for 6 hours max. it was a little dry after 8. my family loved this dish

Great recipe for a week night. Changed it a bit. Used ravioli and added Tapatio for a little kick. Definitely a keeper.

Have been making a similar slow-cooker recipe for years. Just 3 ingredients. Round steak, one onion and one small can of cream of mushroom soup. Cut the steak in 4 to 6 pieces. Place a spoonful of soup (NO water or milk or any other liquid) in the bottom of the crock. Lay in some steak and spread a dollop of soup on top with onion rings or slices. Repeat, ending up with soup and onion on top. Cook on low for 8 hours. Delicious. The condensed soup and the any fluid from the steak and onion make a gravy. Serve with your choice of starch and veggies on the side.
