My husband and kids love this dish and it is so easy to prep! I serve it with rice and a side of crescent rolls.

The boys said this is a keeper!! I used a maranara sauce instead of a regular pasta sauce. Added sides with garlic toast and a garden salad really made this a hit in my house. Will keep this on the menu. Very easy to make!

Dont understand from Tumestone what there trying to keep lit.This is a slow cooker not a grill.

Almost anything goes with this - Corn kernels, black beans, green chilis. OH! The possibilities!! (Italian gumbo?)
Tip for Tumestone: a portable propane (plumbers) torch works great to keep 'em lit.

I used smoked sausage in mine. It was good but hard to keep lit.
