The flavor was very earthy but bland. Needed salted crakers to add "something" to it. Great soup for the cold. I plan to make it again only with a few tweeks.

really good and easy too. Had some difficulty skimmming fat from it but it wasn't very fatty to begin with. My husband and I really liked it. My kids weren't thrilled with it but all could find something in it to eat.

I used this recipe as a base. I doubled the recipe and added a head of garlic. I used 1 can of cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic instead of 2 cans of cream of chicken. I added a little celery salt. Everyone loved the soup.
