Slow-Cooker Chicken Parmesan with Penne Pasta

Ingredients

boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 1/2 lb)

jar (25.5 oz) Muir Glen™ organic tomato basil pasta sauce
8
oz uncooked penne pasta (2 2/3 cups)

tablespoons olive oil
1
cup Progresso™ Italian style panko crispy bread crumbs
1/2
cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. 1 Spray 3 1/2-quart slow cooker with cooking spray; place chicken breasts in cooker. Pour pasta sauce evenly over chicken. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 4 to 5 hours.
  2. 2 Before serving, cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
  3. 3 Meanwhile, in 8-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat; add bread crumbs. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until golden brown. Remove from skillet; set aside.
  4. 4 To serve, top pasta with chicken breast, pasta sauce, bread crumbs and cheese.
