First and only Chicken Parmesan recipe my kids have liked, all four of them actually ate it w/o griping and 2 asked me to make it again. Was very good, and turned out perfect, even started the recipe out with the Chicken frozen, only had it in the crock for 30-45mins longer

I love this recipe! It is SO tender and the whole family eats it. No, the coating doesn't get all crispy when cooked in the slow cooker but it does stay on the chicken. I haven't tried it while the chicken is still frozen, may need longer cooking time.

Is the chicken frozen or thawed when you start this?

Chicken is always tricky int eh crockpot but this was absolutley delicious. The only thing I did different is cut my chicken breast into tenders (slightly larger than normal). Was very pleased!!

I made this without the breading and it was delicious. Not sure how the breading would stay crispy in a slow cooker so just omitted the ingredients related to that. It was still a hit.

Sounds wonderful. But please tell me how does the breading 1. stay on the chicken, 2. form a crust, with the sauce poured over in in the beginning and with that long of a cooking time?I know it would be good in the oven, but slow cooker?? Just asking.
