I think this sounds like a great idea, especially for hungry teenagers after football practice. I would probably do it in the crockpot and then not worry about it until after practice when they are in a hurry to eat.

Sounds yummy! What type of person takes the time to write a nasty review about a recipe they've never made?

I think it sounds great, and wonder what type of person takes the time to write a nasty review of a recipe they haven't made.

Why aren't your recipes showing how many servings? That is something I sure would like to know before making not enough or way to much.

This sounds good to me. But I don't see why you'd need to cook it in a slow cooker. Seems it would be just as good made in a skillet and less clean up.

Mmmmm. A package of pasteurized prepared cheese product loaf, diced sounds....absolutely unappetizing.

This sounds good, but you really don't need the slow cooker. If you put the onions and garlic in with the beef and peppers, all you need to add is the cheese (I use shredded cheddar or sliced American, depending on what I have in the 'fridge) and stir till melted. Voila! done!

in many foods, including processed cheese, such things as sodium can vary widely. it's always good to check labels. you would think it's all the same stuff but it's not.

we thought this was really good. i personally didn't think it was too salty but i like salt. it doesn't have to cook as long as the recipe says the meat pretty much melts in your mouth within 4 hours for sure. slow cooker liners are also a great thing to use for this recipe because velveeta can really stick to the inside of your slow cooker.
