I was worried when I saw beans in the recipe...and I was right! This was horrible! It wasn't thick, was not spicy and lacked good flavor in general. I really hoped, when I made it the second time, without beans, that it would fix all the problems. Sadly, that was not the case. I will stick to another recipe that I have for buffalo chicken chili.

What a great change! This was an easy recipe to make! This is the second time that we have made this; nice flavor! I would like to give this a 5 star rating, but the site will not let me.

My family loved the spicy side of the dish and I did add 1 can of red kidney beans which proved to make the chili much thicker. I would definetly make this dish again and it is a great to come home from work and dinner is complete!

This is a great recipe for a chili cook-off!
1 can chili beans
1 can dark red kidney beans
1 clove garlic
the 2 extra cans of beans really thickened it up to a chili consistency vs. more of a soup.
Will definitely make again!

I expected it to be a little thicker, more like a chili. Definitely more like soup.

This is great....myself and my husband loved it. We did add a bit extra hot sauce and next time I will add more black beans, but it had great flavor!

This was fantastic. I read the title and thought that it was a chili but then my fiance was like this is a soup! so I went back and read the description and sure enough it is a soup. I did not make it with the onion, celery, or carrots as we do not like that. I also made it with 1.5 lbs of chicken not 2.5lbs and I made it with 2 cans of kidney beans. The flavors are great and we added shredded mexican cheese and a dollop of sour cream on top and I made corn bread to have with it. It is so good-we will make again. Great for a snowy day! :)

We really liked this recipe after we made a few changes. I only used 2 lbs of chicken thighs, added a can of kidney beans, used fire roasted tomatoes and needed an extra 1/4 cup of buffalo sauce. I didn't add the salt called for either...plenty of salt in the canned items and buffalo sauce. We like food a little on the spicy side! My 14 month old even loved it!

My family loved this recipe, and enjoyed eating the leftovers as much as the first time. My husband actually made the recipe since I had to be at work earlier than he did. Our teen-age daughter loved it, and so did my 83-year-old mother. Having to look for recipes that have a high fiber content, it was great to see this has 9 grams of fiber per serving. It's great on diabetic exchanges, too.
