Needs cream of celery soup instead. Also cheddar cheese instead of American. Time needs to be reduced..was overcooked and mushy. Will adjust and try again. (also add pepper)

This makes great potato soup. Just add warm milk about 30 minutes before serving.

Fantastic recipe. I added more milk at the end and it made some of the best potato soup I've ever had. Making it again tonight.

I made this, I used a mandolin to cut the potatoes and then cooked it for the time suggested, the potatoes on the bottom turned to mashed potatoes and the ones on top took a long time to cook, I would make it again but I would cut the potatoes a lot thicker and adjust the time, the flavor was wonderful. my error not yours....

made this last night. turned out really good! Definitely don't need to cook it for 9 hours though.

Made this last night and it was delisceous. Takes too long to cook the potatoes as instructed though. Maybe keeping the crockpot on high a little longer.

This is a good weeknight meal and great way to use up leftover ham!

I make my own mushroom cream sauce for this. Much more flavorful.

I love to try slow cooker receipies, so this one came in handy for me to alter. Don't like ham, so I substituted shrimp & crabmeat. WoW talk about gooood.

Needs a bit more than mushroom soup. Mushroom soup has a tendency to be bland. I am going to tey celery soup.
