I thought this recipe was really tasty, however the oatmeal mix for the top just didnt seem like enough, so I doubled it. It seemed perfect to me this way. It was a little strange since there was no "crisp." I actually thought this would be super yummy at breakfast.

I DON'T COOK! In fact, I'm famous among my for NOT cooking. I saw this recipe and my mouth watered just looking at the picture. I decided to take a chance and fix this for my next gathering. Well, for starters, it made my entire house smell wonderful all day long! When it came time to serve, my guests (who were all in shock and awe that I had made something - and from scratch, too!) were blown away! It was to die for!! My only mistake was letting it cook a little too long, but even so - DELICIOUS!!

Very good! The size of apple slices is important. Soft apples and thin slices of apples will result in mushy apples. I'll be making this again.

This recipe was browned in only three hours and the apples were already mushy. It was not sweet enough for my taste,it needed more brown sugar.I will probably not make this recipe again.

The Apple Crisp was so easy to fix and smelled wonderful as it was cooking. Everyone at work is asking me to make it again. We had it warm with ice cream and caramel on top. I did not really taste the toffee bits with all the pecans, so I will probably leave those out next time. This is a great recipe!!

I doubled this recipe for an after-the-game college football tailgating party. It was such a hit and made me feel so good as a Mom to prepare something that everyone would enjoy so much. One of the students wants the recipe and is eager to purchase a slow cooker to try it out! Thanks, Pillsbury, for a wonderful tasting, wonderful smelling, easy and satisfying dish. Once again, you made me look good.
