Was tasty and easy ... I left out the mushrooms (yuck!), the canned tomatoes were italian/garlic (didnt see plain in the store that trip), and I used the jar gravy, but added about 1/2 jar water to "swish around" and get all the gravy + add some extra liquid based on the reviews. Ended up cooking on low more like 11 hours ... teenage daughter said good but meatballs too mushy which I think was due to the extra cooking time. Served with frozen microwave steamed green beans and Pillsbury breadsticks ... and brought leftovers for lunch today! Will try again when I will be home earlier to cook

Very tasty - I too would add a 2nd jar of gravy as I had to add a cup of liquid at the end to keep it from being too dry as it cooked.

This is delicious! I used 2 jars of gravy instead as suggested below. I also served it in breadbowls and suggested below. Was great with and without! I would definitely recommend.

This isn't just good...it's amazing. I am going to share it with extended family. Here's what I did with it: I omitted the mushrooms ... just hate them. Used gravy packets ... mixed 2 cups cold water with 2 packet contents without cooking it and used that instead of canned or bottled gravy. I used angus beef meatballs ... amazing, that's all I can say about them. I used frozen prechopped onion ... so easy and too small for my son to pick out. Sprinkled top of tomatoes with ground pepper when everything was in crock pot. This recipe was just too good and too easy and will be made again.

This was the first of 3 slow cooker meals planned for this week. It was yummy and easy. My husband picked on it til bedtime and my stepson finished the leftovers for lunch. I did find it needed more liquid so I added a packet of gravy mix and a cup of water. Next time I will add 2 jars of gravy to suit our tastes. Tonites meal won't get the same reviews though, see gingered broccoli chicken.
