This was a very simple recipe to make. I added a few extra spices to make it more "Cajun" as I knew the final taste would be pretty bland if I followed the recipe exactly. This recipe is a good "base", but also gives some room to experiment and make it to your liking.

It needed more spices. There just wasn't alot of flavor to it

My family really enjoyed this recipe, even the kids! It was easy to make and tasted great! It was not, however, as "cajun" as I would have liked (hence the 4 stars instead of 5), but I added extra Tabasco to mine and this helped the flavor considerably. All in all, it was a crowd pleaser, appealing to a variety of eaters, and I'll definitely make it again.

As a Cajun all of my life, and a pretty darn cook also, I can tell you that this is a terrible recipe. Don't waste your time.

This was so easy to make and very tasty. I substituted Beef Smoked Sausage for the pork sausage and also added more red beans. My family loved it. We will be making a double batch of this for game day.
