This recipe made an excellent main dish. I added a few cut up small new potatoes and a bit more burgundy, and the meat was extremely tendy and flavorful. This recipe was in one of my Pillsbury cookbooks, which I misplaced, and I was really happy to find the recipe on this site.

This was great with a nice hot bread roll! I did not have a bay leaf or oregano so, I added some liquid smoke.

This is an excellent recipe. I used and arm roast i found in my freezer and cut it up into chunks and that worked just as well. This has a heary flavor and goes well with noodles or mashed potatoes.
