I loved these cookies and so did everyone else. I used chocolate chip cookie dough instead and out mini reese cups and rolo's in the middle and skipped the frosting.

I have to say that these cookies are a BIG hit in my house!! I made them for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day and they were gone before I could get one!! Thank goodness I saved some at home for my family and me!! One tip.....I put the frosting in the microwave and melted it and drizzled it over the cookies instead of piping the frosting on top. Much better....not too sweet! I will definitely make these again!!

I made these for a Christmas party & they went wild. I used rolos for the candy & homemade frosting drizzled on top. Was fun to watch everyone guess what was in the middle. Have made them several times since & will definately make them again, maybe for Valentine's with pink or red frosting.

I made some changes. I did not use paper baking cups. I didn't think that muffin cups would look too classy on my holiday cookie plates. I sprayed mini muffin tins with spray and put the cookies directly in the muffin tin and let cool for 20 min before removing. I also added a sprinkle of coarse sea salt on top before baking and the slight salty contrast was great with the sweetness. I did not use frosting because between a Milky Way bar and peanut butter cookie, it would be overkill and It takes more than a tsp of dough to cover a bite size candy bar!

I believe the recipe calls for Milky Way candy bars...but snickers may be good too, since they have peanuts.

These are PHENOMENAL. I made them using the peanut butter cookie dough, and then using brownie batter (just piped it into the cups since it was thinner than the cookie dough), and both ways turn out amazing! Will make again - many, many times.
