Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 375°F. In small bowl, mix butter and sage.
  • 2
Separate dough into 8 triangles. Reserve 1 tablespoon butter mixture for topping. Spread remaining butter mixture evenly over triangles. Sprinkle with pecans.
  • 3
Roll up, starting at shortest side of each triangle, rolling to opposite point. Place on ungreased cookie sheet; curve each into crescent shape. Spread reserved butter mixture over tops of rolls.
  • 4
Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

  • tip 1
Dried sage leaves are available crumbled and ground. Choose crumbled leaves for these crescents; they are attractive in the filling.
  • tip 2
Use your favorite nut for these crescents; the flavor of toasted walnuts or hazelnuts blends well with sage.
  • tip 3
Sage is the classic herb in poultry stuffing. Try these sage-flavored crescent rolls with your next chicken or turkey dinner.
