Another delicious recipe! Since this recipe was created, you can now purchase cream cheese with chives and onions already in it. Rather than crushing croutons, I use StoveTop stuffing. They also freeze well when individually wrapped.

This is basically what I have been making over the years but mine are a bit simpler. About 2 cups leftover chicken or turkey, cream cheese, salt. pepper, , milk mixed and then wrapped into the crescent rolls as recipe states. Baking as directed. No topping of croutons nor a sauce. A well known restaurant serves similar as an appetizer and they are not as good as keeping it simple like this and the way I make them. Less is best. The picture didn't seem to do this recipe justice. This has been a requested recipe for EONS from others for me to make. A half cup filling per square. Enjoy!

I have been making these for years. I make a large pot of homemade soup and use the white breast and pull the meat off for these and make a double batch, they are like potato chips, can't eat just one, :)

I feed a man who climbs telephone poles all day, and when it's cold or if it's gonna be a late night this is what he asks for... and he eats 3~ great tummy fillin' comfort food.
