Another recipe that I've been making since it came out in 1974. It's always been a favorite. My children think that I created it...shhhhhh! :)

My family loves these! No matter how many I make, there is never any leftovers! These are super easy, and quick especially if you use rotisserie chicken.

These were really good. I bought a rotisserie chicken and used the breasts. Added a little more pimiento and used scallions instead of chives.

Been making these for years. My husband loves them! I've also substituted other fillings: diced ham, canned tuna, and chopped turkey.

Very easy recipe! Instead of plain cream cheese, I used onion and chive cream cheese. Added a little more flavor! Very tasty! Thanks :)

My husband and I really enjoyed this last night. There was a problem with this recipe though. It calls for a pkg of cream cheese and says that equals 3oz. I don't think I have ever seen a 3oz. container of cream cheese. Mine are always 8oz. Maybe back in 1974 when this recipe won that was a standard size. At the time, I decided that the ounce size was a typo, so I used the whole 8oz. I think it turned out just fine. I also made some additions. I added extra onions (how could I only use 1 tbsp of onions/chives)? I decided that I needed some veggies in it too so I added frozen corn.

Simple and delicious! I poach and shred the chicken, add extra onion, a sprinkle of granulated garlic and dill. Reheats well at 350 covered loosely for 20 min and uncovered for 10.

I made this with a sauce made of sour cream and cream of chisken soup, everyone liked it much better no sauce. It is added to our permanent dinner rotation, especially for cold winter nights.

I've been making this recipe for at least 25 years. I love it! I've almost always made it w/ canned chicken, and tonight, I substituted Boursin cheese because I didn't have any cream cheese on hand. YUM! Thank you, Doris, very much for creating such an easy and delicious recipe.
