I have made these for years and they are always a big hit. It was one of the first meals that my whole family (including a picky 2-year-old) would eat. They take a little bit of practice to look nice & pretty but are otherwise easy! I have also used Neufchatel cheese in place of the cream cheese and reduced fat crescent rolls and they are just as good!

When I make these for my family, I make a quick and easy sauce for it using Cream of Chicken soup. Just add a little milk, until it is the desired consistency, heat and ladle over the squares. very fast, very easy, very yummy!

Tasty and easy to prepare. I think filling needs to be a little juicier maybe add a little chicken gravy to the filling. I also plan to reduce the seasoned croutons to about 1/3 of a cup and just barely dust the top of them. Nice satisfying dish.

I altered the recipe a bit, and it came out awesome! Instead of pimentos I added chopped tomatoes and some mozerella cheese (about a 1/4c). Next time I might add more veggies, like mushrooms and green peppers. This recipe is a keeper!!

The first time I came across this recipe, I knew I had to try it! My children were picky eaters, and I was looking for something new to try on them. We all loved these so much, it became one of those recipes I knew I could count on, and it was easy, too! I lost the resipe during amove, and had a hard time finding it again (I forgot it's name), and subsequent tries to recall it weren't quite the same. I'm so glad to have found it again! They keep well in the fridge, and can be eaten hot or cold, though we like them best fresh out of the oven!

I recomend keeping the cressent rolls cold untiledy to use. The warmer they get, the harder they are to seel tight.

To sarabelle09: There is a package size that's 3 oz. (cream cheese), but they are few and far between. I don't think EVERY store carries this size all the time.

Very good. I would make it again, mine were almost too creamy in some bites so I would maybe do a little less cream cheese or more chicken next time. Otherwise very good.

I found this recipe by the Pillsbury rolls years ago and began using it for the day after Thanksgiving leftover meal. I would use the leftover turkey for the sandwiches and then use the gravy to top it. It is as much a part of our Thanksgiving traditions as the turkey itself, and always a much anticipated meal. One of my favorite recipes!

i make this recipe all the time! but it's even better when you use savory vegetable flavored crackers instead of croutons
