Dinner ready in 20 minutes! Enjoy tasty chicken breasts dipped in egg and sautéed till golden brown.

Ingredients

cup all-purpose flour
1/4
cup grated Parmesan cheese
1
teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1
egg, lightly beaten or 1/4 cup fat-free cholesterol-free egg product (from 8-oz carton)

boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb)
4
teaspoons olive or canola oil
Dash pepper
Dash paprika

Steps

  • 1 In shallow dish or pie pan, mix flour, cheese and oregano. In another shallow dish, place egg. Dip each chicken breast into egg; dip into flour mixture to coat, shaking off excess.
  • 2 In 10-inch nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat 2 to 3 minutes or until very hot. Add chicken; sprinkle with pepper and paprika. Cook 6 minutes. Turn chicken; sprinkle again with pepper and paprika. Cook 6 minutes longer or until chicken is golden brown and juice is clear when center of thickest part is cut (170°F).
