This is delicious! Different than your typical egg casserole. My kids and husband loved it! My 8 year old had 2 big helpings. I used 8 eggs instead of 6.

Like several other reviewers I found this recipe to be perfect for Easter lunch. I cooked the sausage before going to church and quickly assembled the casserole when I got home. My grocery store didn't have the low-fat sausage so I just used regular sausage and drained it very well. Don't skip the fresh basil on top. It addas excellent flavor.

I made this for Easter morning and it was a huge hit. Did have to bake it about 10 minutes longer for the egg to set but it was great and I will definitely make it again.

Made this for Easter Brunch. Easy to make after church and wow! The flavor was incredible. The family was scraping the pan. I made it exactly as the recipe stated with no modifications. I did need to cook it about 10 min longer than the recipe stated for the middle to be set. Will make this again!

Well, I omitted the pesto and basil and added green peppers, onions, and mushrooms instead. It was delicious and easy to make. I will make this again!

This was great!! We wanted something different, not sweet, for breakfast. When I rummaged around, I realized I had enough ingredients to make this. It was REALLY good. It just shows that you don't have to have the right ingredients, you need the idea. This is a great recipe and idea!
