Along with the green bell pepper, I make my cornbread stuffing with an additional red and a yellow pepper (same measurements) plus a can of sweet creamed corn. If using the creamed corn, use the chicken broth only as needed because it may get too moist. This will be the most delicious stuffing you ever had! I get soo many compliments on this stuffing.
I don't make it with the sausage though. Maybe I'll give it a try and it'll end up kicking it up a notch! Ha.
