This recipe was a hit with my family. I do agree that you need to reduce the amount of whipping cream or it will take forever to set. Will make again!

Reduce the amount of whipping cream. Your chocolate filling will be runny and NOT set up (even overnight!) if you use the 3/4 cup called for in this recipe.

This recipe failed!! I tried with 3/4 cup whipping cream and chocolate mixture was too thin. I tried a 2nd time with 1/2 cup cream and mixture was still too thin. Mixture did not firm up even after leaving in fridge overnight. I couldn't use them for intended party and ended up throwing cookies out. An expensive waste!

Turned out great!! Watch the baking time because they are 1/2 the size of normal cookies, so they don't need a very long time to bake! I used 1/2 a cup of heaving whipping cream and that worked amazing (I sometimes have troubles with melting chocolate and getting it to not be lumpy)! I used milk chocolate instead of semi-sweet chips (personal preference) stuck them in the fridge over night and they firmed up just fine!

FAIL! At minimum baking time, cookies were too brown and ended up being somewhat hard when we ate them. Recipe calls for TOO MUCH whipping cream- the chocolate filling never became firm even after 2+ hours of chilling and was still runny when we bit into the cookie. They tasted fine, but due to the runny filling I was unable to give them as gifts as I'd planned (because they won't travel well) but I will not make these again unless the recipe gets adjusted.

RE: RCKECKES .. This works really well with sugar cookie dough. Yum! Also, you can fill them with jams or preserves for a thumbprint cookie variation. Happy Baking :)
