These turned out great! Used Rolo's as well. Certainly center is more gooey, but stayed where it should. Don't bother transferring to a rack to cool. They will fall apart. Just let them cool on your cookie sheet. These were fun to make and enjoyed by all! Favorite cookie of the Holiday season so far!

I bake a lot and rarely find things that won't turn out at all. I used Rolo candies for these. I made them twice...following the recipe to the letter each time. Both times I was careful to use enough dough to completely surround the candy and yet the caramel melted out all over the pan (the second time I even used more dough to try and stop that problem). Then, there was so much caramel in the center that the cookie stayed all gooey and would not set up. I have no idea where I went wrong because I followed the directions carefully. I won't be trying these again!

These tasted wonderful, but be sure to remove them from the pan promptly. The caramel cools quickly and will stick to the pan if you leave them there too long. I had 2/3 fall apart when trying to get them off the pan.

I made these cookies for our holiday party at work. We had a dessert contest and I won $50! I didn't drizzle the glaze until I got to work. They would have been to sticky to transport. Also added the last sprinkling of salt just before serving as suggested. I doubled the recipe using the new giant log of cookies dough. It is just a tad more dough than two small roles but that didn't seem to make a bit of difference. They are really super easy to make and come out beautifully. I would definately make them again.

Took these cookies to work. They went fast! I didn't drizzle the topping...I pretty much frosted them. The salt on top changes the cookie flavor..much better. Was too much chocolate for me, I am not a chocolate eater. Used Rolos, but didn't freeze them twice. Just built the cookie around the Rolo. Was a big hit at work. Already requested for a fancy dinner next year.

Wonderful! I made it for the office cookie exchange! I did not add the salt to the top - the salt on the inside was enough

I absolutely love Salted caramel truffles so I decided to make these for an early family Christmas gathering. Huge hit! Honestly, I almost didn't have enough to serve the family due to gobbling them up beforehand. I didn't even put the caramel topping or extra salt due to time constraints. Will definitely make again and try the topping. I absolutely recommend a tall glass of milk with these!

No review yet, just a question. Was the milk chocolate caramel that were used the Rollo candy or the Hershey Milk Chocolate Kiss? Thank you. I will be making them for my cookies exchange.

The cookies are good but I thought messy the caramel on top made them messy to eat will make them again but without the icing.
