PLEASE, PEOPLE!! WHAT AN UNHEALTHY RECIPE!! Look at the calorie count, and the carb count!! This is why the obese people in America are being told to change their eating habits. Might taste yummy, but more than a forkful is bad for us. Please keep recipes tasty, and yet on the healthier side. (I'm not even going to say that my husband and I are both diabetic, controlling by diet and oral meds; just looking at the picture raised our blood sugars, I think.)

the only time we have used spanish peanutss is to made peanut brittle. these nuts are raw. so, in this recipe are the spanish peanuts raw or the ready to eat variety?

Absolutely delicious. I read reviews because I want to know how the dish tastes and how easy or hard it is to prepare, not because I need to know how many calories are in it. I can read that for myself and so can everyone else who chooses to prepare it.

I took my time to cook this pie, and I was rewarded for my time and effort. It is delilsh....I had to use what I would call 1/2 slices in order to finish each serving..People are waiting for me to do it again..

I hate to be another review that has not tried the recipe but please if you havn't tried the recipe, don't comment. I look at reviews for tweaking or if it's worth trying, not someone's off the wall opinion. please join facebook. oh, yeah, can't wait to bake it.

I made this a short time back and my husband is till talking about it. It is rich and lasted a long time at my house but not because it wasn't good but because my husband wanted to make it last. I cook a lot but if someone is an occasional cook, they need to pay close attention to this recipe. It isn't difficult but it is more difficult that some recipes. Yummy!

I have to agree with Floral - I mean, really - how often are you really going to make something this decadent besides around the holidays. Stop worrying about all the fat and calories for a day or two. Enjoy-life is too short.

I can't resist my very first review: please don't tell me how much fat and calories are in this recipe; give me some credit for figuring that out on my own. All I want is an honest "review" of the recipe. I can deal with my conscience on my own, thank you.
