This recipe is the perfect salad and plate presentation for a bridal or baby shower. Instead of using the dressing recipe I served it with a Raspberry Cabernet Dressing that I bought at the market. A beautiful addition would be finally sliced red radishes or other carved vegetable flowers. This could also be garnished with fresh raspberries to complement the dressing. Rose petals, Pansies Pink Dianthus, and Chive blossoms are edible as are Nasturtiums. Just be sure that they are grown organically and rinsed well before using. Fresh herbs like Cilantro, Dill, Fennel and Sage leaves would make wonderful additions or substitutions as well. The ideas are endless. This recipe is was a wonderful inspiration for me. I love to create elegant sides and appetizers for family and friends on special occasions and this one was fabulous.
