Rum-Pecan Macaroons

roll (18 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated sugar cookies
1 1/2
cups flaked or shredded coconut
1
cup chopped pecans
1 1/2
teaspoons rum extract
Candied red and green cherry halves or pecan halves

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 350ºF. In large bowl, break up cookie dough. Stir in coconut, chopped pecans and rum extract (dough will be stiff).
  2. 2 Shape dough into 1-inch balls; place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Press cherry half in center of each cookie.
  3. 3 Bake 9 to 13 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheets.
