oz. (2 cups) uncooked rotini (spiral pasta) or short fusilli (curly spaghetti)

tablespoons olive oil

cup sliced fresh carrots

cup chopped onion

cups sliced zucchini
1/2
lb. cooked ham, cut into 2x1/2x1/4-inch strips
1/4
teaspoon fennel seed

  • 1 Cook rotini to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain.
  • 2 Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet over medium heat until hot. Add carrots and onion; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until crisp-tender. Add zucchini; cook 1 to 2 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  • 3 Stir in ham and fennel seed; cook 1 to 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
  • 4 Add cooked rotini to ham mixture; toss gently to combine.
