pouch (8 oz) Old El Paso™ Mexican cooking sauce roasted tomato

lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef

cup milk
2/3
cup crushed Old El Paso™ crunchy taco shells (about 6 shells)

egg, beaten

medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)

teaspoon garlic salt
1/4
teaspoon pepper
3/4
teaspoon chili powder

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. 2 Reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking sauce. In large bowl, mix remaining cooking sauce and remaining ingredients. Spread mixture in ungreased 8x4-inch loaf pan. Spread reserved cooking sauce on top.
  3. 3 Bake uncovered about 1 hour or until thermometer inserted in center of loaf reads 160°F. Drain meat loaf. Let stand 5 minutes; remove from pan.
