lb fresh asparagus

tablespoons olive or vegetable oil

teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2
teaspoon garlic pepper blend
1/2
teaspoon dried oregano leaves

tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese

  • 1 Heat oven to 425°F. Spray 15x10x1-inch pan with cooking spray. Wash asparagus; break off tough ends where stalks snap easily. If desired, peel stems of spears.
  • 2 In shallow bowl, mix remaining ingredients except cheese; toss with asparagus to coat. Spread in pan.
  • 3 Roast uncovered 10 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese; toss to coat. Roast uncovered 5 to 8 minutes longer or until asparagus is crisp-tender.

Expert Tips

Have the asparagus trimmed and ready to bake. Pop it in the oven while the roasted turkey is standing and you're making the gravy.

Substitute 1/4 teaspoon each garlic powder and coarse ground pepper for the garlic pepper blend.

AMAZING!!! I could of ate the whole thing! I would defiantly eat this as a snack! Its a Keeper !

Fabulous and easy! Will definitely make again, soon. I also added red pepper, prepared in the same way.

Exellent. Would only roast a total of 10-12 minutes. The whole time it calls for results in overcooked asparagus. I changed the oregano to rosemary just because we are not oregano fans. Turned out very tasty. Will make again frequently.
