This is the best stuffing recipe ever! I have several family and guests that were on the fence or did not ever like stuffing; THIS converted them forever! I use: Jimmy Dean Maple and Sage flavored bulk sausage Organic: celery, onions, parsley, bread crumbs, Granny Smith apples, low-sodium chicken broth and pomegranate infused Craisins. I add a little of the turkey drippings to the reserved stuffing casserole before baking (with the turkey in the last hour). Most of my guests prefer stuffing not from the turkey--it tends to be too soggy. ABSOLUTELY DE-licious!!!

My family LOVED this recipe! It was quick and easy to make. I used Craisins instead of raisins - didn't even need cranberry sauce with dinner! The contrasting flavors were great. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes to try new tastes.

Instant Hit! My family loves this stuffing recipe although I substitute dried cranberries or cherries (left over from the Cherry-Cranberry Sauce - also a hit) for the raisins. Very delish!

OMG!!! this is the recipe my grandma had used forever and no one ever has heard of it. People are always saying sausage in turkey!~ I don't know ~..... It is soooo good!! We don't use the raisins but last year I put dried cranberries in and it was great!! I am making it a permanent ingredient in this recipe. Try it, you will love it! Mmmmmmm.
