roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury® Create 'n Bake® refrigerated sugar cookies
1/4
cup all-purpose flour
Additional 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2
cups powdered sugar
2
teaspoons light corn syrup
2
to 3 tablespoons milk
Food color, if desired
Assorted hard candies and colored sprinkles

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, break up cookie dough. Stir or knead in 1/4 cup flour until well blended. Remove half the dough, and refrigerate remaining dough until needed.
  • 2 Sprinkle 2 tablespoons flour onto work surface. With rolling pin, roll dough 1/4 inch thick. With 3-inch star-shaped cookie cutter, cut out dough stars. On ungreased cookie sheets, place stars 2 inches apart. Repeat with remaining dough and flour.
  • 3 Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
  • 4 In small bowl, mix powdered sugar, corn syrup and enough milk until smooth and spreadable. Stir in food color. Frost cookies with glaze. Decorate as desired with assorted candies and sprinkles.

For two different looks on your cookie plate, put half of the cookies aside before frosting, and partially dip in melted chocolate instead.
