Thank you so much for your response. Whoops....I didn't know about the measurements of marshmallow creme. I figured 1 cup equal 8 oz. and since the recipe calls for 2 cups of marshmallow creme, then I figured two 7-oz jars would be about right???? Also, the butter was not melted, it was just softened. I will be making another batch of these with the correct amount of marshmallow creme. THANKS!!

This recipe was fun, easy and the kids loved them. We didn't add the fruit and they were awesome without it.

I just threw out the original filling mix (according to this recipe, because it came out too runny) and I made the following filling recipe instead; it came out thicker and not quite as sweet. BTW, the cake cookies came out great.
Substitute filling recipe:
"In medium mixing bowl beat 1/4 cup softened butter and half an 8-ounce package softened cream cheese until smooth. Fold in one 7-ounce jar marshmallow creme."

HELP!!!! My marshmallow filling came out runny. I used 2 sticks of Imperial butter (1/2 c. each), I used 1 and 1/2 c. powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, and I used 2 jars of Kraft marshmallow creme (the jars are 7 oz each). I mixed with an electric mixer for quite some time but it never got fluffy. I thought maybe not enough marshmallow creme, so I went to the store and bought another 7 oz jar and added it. My filling is STILL RUNNY. What did I do wrong??????? I really wanted to take these to a dessert auction this weekend :o(

I made these for a pre-4th of July celebration and they were AMAZING! I did change the filling to just a can of whipped cream cheese frosting with a tub of cool whip folded in since I don't like marshmallows. We loaded each one with fresh blueberries and with each bite there was a little pop of blueberry goodness in your mouth. The combination of flavors and texture is perfect. I will most definitely be making these again. Thanks Pillsbury! Happy 4th, everyone! :)
