Cookie dough tips
• Keep cookie dough covered and refrigerated for up to 24 hours or freeze in an airtight container for up to 9 months. Thaw just until soft enough to handle.
• It’s easy to add food coloring to softened cookie dough. Add the desired amount of food coloring to the dough; work it into the dough until the color is well blended. Shape the dough into a log. Wrap it tightly in plastic; refrigerate it until firm, about 3 hours.
