I made this tonight. I used a different cake mix and was short an egg..then since it was a different cake mix used I didn't have the topping so I had to make my own so I used toasted coconut and toasted pecans and instead of the raspberry's I used strawberry's that I processed mixed with strawberry preserves.. It came out great. would make again and try with different flavors.

I was looking for something to take to a brunch and found this recipe. Other reviewer was correct...could not find the pecan swirl quick bread. Used a similar quick bread mix from another "baking" company and followed the recipe as written. The bars were delicious! Everyone loved them and asked for the recipe. Will definately make again...maybe change up the rasberries for something else.

This a very good and easy dessert. Only one problem - - the pecan swirl quick bread is no longer available so another type of crust needs to be made. I used an oatmeal type crust which was baked ahead of time and then the filling was made and baked according to the recipe. Turned out very well.
