I made these without the pepper and changed the raspberry to cherry butter! Really good!

I made these but omitted the pepper for my husband and kids! substituted cherry butter for the raspberry

That was my first thought too, but then I thought maybe to make it a little thinner??

Pulling a rectangular piece of dough into a square shape thins it out a little bit and makes each piece a little larger than simply cutting it into squares.

My sentiments exactly! I understand if you're using the perforated dough, but not the large sheet!
